I forget how busy September can be!

If it's September, so much is happening. Some of it planned, like demos, classes, preserving projects and trips.

And some of it unplanned, like plums & pears on my doorstep, packaged beautifully by the generous giver in a vintage Nordstrom hat box.

If you read my blog, you probably wonder why I haven't been posting new articles on my website very often.

If you follow Learn To Preserve on Facebook, you might have a better idea.

On my Facebook page, I post daily. Those "status updates" offer information on what I'm currently preserving -- perhaps providing inspiration for future projects -- and photos I take when I am out and about.

If you wonder where I've been (literally) check Facebook. If you follow me you'll know that in September I have a lot of canning classes scheduled, have been doing a TON (almost literally) of preserving, am traveling to Texas, Philadelphia and New York City, and to kick off the month, I suffered a fall from my horse today, captured in dramatic fashion on video, no less.
File this loose-saddle-slipping-off-my-horse incident in the "unplanned September events" category.

So what are you waiting for? "LIKE me", already!
